Ode to the self checkout

Last year, the Mission Superstore was renovated and an addition was built. In doing this they also added a thing that I had only seen once before, in an american Wal-Mart. What did they add? Self checkouts. Thats right. The very things that Troy and I had tried to use one day at that Wal-Mart. The time we had to call for assistance three times between the two of us. The time we swore we would never use self checkouts again. Well, now that I live in Abbotsford, I generally shop at the Abbotsford Superstore, and I realised today, while waiting in line to purchase 4 items, that I really, really miss the self checkouts in mission. Because I have used them. On numerous occasions. And I like them. I think Abbotsford should get some.
Im sorry, Troy.

Self-checkouts are awesome... They have them in all the loblaws (superstore equivalent in ottawa).

I use them all the time and then for signing my visa I draw pictures instead of leaving my signature.. Keeps them guessing...

I guess if you are able to use a self-serve check out, it means you are all grown up.
Of course, when you couldn't you were responsible for 100 children. Scary.
