Yesterday officially began Tim Horton's 2007 Roll up the Rim season. Yesterday was a day full of hope and anticipation. I have great expectations for this Roll up the Rim season, as last year was quite dissapointing. I finished the season with a win ratio of 0 for 33. I will do better this year. I anticipate my total coffee count to be much lower this time around, but my wins count will be off the chart. Trust me. The odds of winning are 1 in 9. I have to catch up after last year.
Roll up the Rim count thus far: 0 for 2.

Hey are they giving away barbeques again?
No... just cars, cash, plasma TVs and ipods... oh, and 30,000,000 food prizes.
It's all about location. I am 1/1 at the Timmy's here at UNBC.
I think we started a few days earlier, though?
Anyways, you could take your chances and relocate, or hold out and hope for the big prize (How free is a free coffee if you only buy one in the first place to roll? LOL I'm such a consumer)
Dangit, now what am I going to give Jen for a wedding present?
Well Cassy, I am officially passing off my roll-up-the-rim wins to you for this season. I think last year I was 1 in 3, so hopefully I can pass that on to you!
Hi Cassy...so it begins again. I am 1 for 5 as of right now and Chris is 1 for 3. Hopefully we all have better success this year!
Lindsay
P.S-->I am stealing this blog because I don't have one of my own.
0 for 1 so far...but if i buy one, win, and then win on my win, i will be back at 100% right?
NOOO!!!!! Silly Jen.
...0 for 3 now.
The really remarkable thing, Jen, would be if you won again. Then you would be at 150%.
This is to much math for me...
Well last year i gave up tim hortons for lent. So i think i was a t like 0for10 by the end, This year it looks alot better for me. I am at 1for2 so far.
I am now at the sad rate of 1/3. It's so bad. I buy coffee/tea just because I want a higher percentage!
I like Jen's theory.
Okay Cassy, I have a fantastic secret for you, which will no longer be a secret since I am publishing it, and actually never was. Here it is anyhow: Go into Tim Horton's and there will be a poster with information about the game. Since it's a no-purchase neccesary deal you can write Tim Horton's office and get a free cup in the mail. It should explain everything. That could bring up your standings without the purchase of a coffee!!
This is the best marketing campaign ever. For our wedding we were given the camping package from a lady in our church. My dad had taken her out for coffee when she won it and they had used a free coffee cup to get it. So they won big with a free coffee cup (Jen's theory at work).
I play by jen's theory... I'm a starbucks customer through and through. Thus the only way I get tim horton's if someone buys it for me...
last year I went 1 and 0. I won once and didn't buy any...
This year its early and I'm 1 and 0 again... But it was just a coffee so i gave it to some kid who answered a question in my PA session.
why cant I ever win?
... 0 for 4
wow, this "season" starts quite a conversation if i do say so myself.. which i do. I am 1 for 2.. i was going to stop at 1 just so that i could be 100% for the season, but then i stubled into tim's and had to get something...dang. Maybe if i play by jen's theory i will make it back to 100%...or better..
